Business Storage System Financing

The funding of the Storage System by Micronomy comes IN ADDITION to the subsidy of the "Storage Systems in Businesses" Program in order to further strengthen the businesses that have chosen Micronomy to execute the Program.

The process is as follows:

  1. Contact with a Micronomy Energy Advisor and check the Company's eligibility for the Program and Financing.
  2. Determination of energy needs and preparation of a customized Implementation and Dimensioning Study for the entire PV installation including the Storage System.
  3. Application Submission. (The deadline for submitting applications is Friday 28th February 2025.)
  4. Execution of the Project.

The "Storage Systems in Businesses" Program subsidizes businesses, regardless of size and sector of economic activity, for the installation of storage systems in photovoltaic systems (where exclusively the storage system is subsidized) or for the installation of a storage system (battery) in already existing active photovoltaic systems (where exclusively the storage system is subsidized).

Within the framework of the Program, all existing Enterprises that, at the time of their application to the Program, have not started construction work for the photovoltaic station and the storage system, and enterprises that have an installed photovoltaic station without a storage system and intend to install a storage system at the time of their application to the program, are entitled to participate and receive support.

In the context of submitting the application, it is noted that:

a) Each company may submit an application corresponding to one or more active electricity supplies.

b) It is not possible to submit more than one application for the same electricity supply, subject to the case of rejection of the application (or cancellation of the application by the applicant himself), in which case the submission of a new application is permitted.

Through the Program, a percentage (%) of the cost of the storage system and its accompanying costs is subsidized, subject to the subsidy restrictions, based on the General Administrative Code. The intensity of the aid depending on the size of the enterprise for the Main Eligible Costs is as follows:

Large Enterprise, 30% support

Medium Enterprise, 40% support

Small Enterprise, 50% support

The total subsidy amount received by each Beneficiary is calculated at the level of a single enterprise and cannot exceed €400,000.00 per Beneficiary.

The eligible costs of this Program are distinguished into main costs for the implementation of the photovoltaic station system together with a storage system (where exclusively the storage system is subsidized) which are examined within the framework of the General Subsidiary Regulation and into supporting services (i.e. costs necessary for the study - dimensioning of the necessary interventions, the energy evaluation reports of the average annual energy profile and the cost of interconnection with HEDNO / IPTO) which are examined within the framework of the "De minimis" regulation. 1. The eligible costs are the following: Equipment Costs: a) Supply and installation of a storage system as well as ancillary materials (panels, cables, smart meter, etc.).

b) Supply and installation of Energy Management System, i.e. equipment / software for a more efficient energy production / storage system.

Service Costs: a) Fee for study - dimensioning of the system (Photovoltaic and battery). b) Fee for Project Management Consultants within the framework of the Program. c) Fee for the cost of interconnection with HEDNO / ADMIE.

Whether it is a case of net-billing or zero feed-in, any choice of the beneficiary is not within the control of the program. In any case, the installed capacity of each generating station installed can amount to up to one hundred percent (100%) of the agreed capacity of the consumption supply.

The start of submission of funding applications by potential beneficiaries will be activated on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. The deadline for submission of applications is Friday 28th February 2025.

Applications are subject to the FIFO (First In – First Out) immediate evaluation basis as follows: Applications will be included until the available budget is exhausted. After the available budget is exhausted, the remaining applications will remain in the system as second-choice applications based on the timestamp they received upon submission.

The action is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan Greece 2.0 with funding from the European Union – NextGenerationEU
